The LARGE comes standard with an ash pan and coal basket, which makes it easy to remove ash and charcoal. Just like the XLARGE, the grilling surface of the LARGE can easily be expanded with an extra raised rack (not included in this set). With the woodchipper you add smoking wood without having to open the lid, so you don't lose any heat. The access to the woodchipper is double insulated, so you can operate the Kamado without burning your fingers. The air slider, at the bottom of the Kamado, consists of several small air holes that converge in a point, allowing you to control the temperature very accurately.
