Valhal Handle Protector Leather (VH.SLEEVE)
A well-known characteristic of cast iron is its ability to retain heat for long periods of time. Valhal Outdoor has developed the sleeve for easier cooking with a cast iron skillet. This leather cover, designed for the handles of skillets, among other things, retains the sturdy character of the pan. Although a perfect fit for Valhal Outdoor pans, the handle cover is suitable for any pan with a comparable handle. Made of leather, the cover becomes more flexible over time and conforms to the handle of the pan. Use is simple: slide it around the handle when you pick up the pan. However, do not leave it at high cooking temperatures. The sleeve can be left in place during storage, and the design even includes a hanging hole. Regular grease with, for example, Valhal Outdoor's VH.WAX keeps the sleeve in optimal condition and gives the leather a characteristic dark color over time.
