The 18 cm Forged Katai Santoku knife is the Japanese version of the chef's knife. The word 'santoku' means 'three virtues', referring to the three cutting functions the knife can perform: slicing, chopping and mincing. This diversity makes it an all-rounder in the kitchen. Unlike most knife series, the Forged Katai knives are made from Japanese VG10 steel with a hardness level of 60 Rockwell. All Forged Katai knives are forged by hand in 5 layers, have a blade thickness of 2 mm and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. Packaged in a luxurious box. We offer a 10-year warranty.
