This special edition is the result of years of dedication, experimentation, and pure craftsmanship. Brewed in Rotterdam with home-grown soybeans and wheat from the Hoeksche Waard region, Tomasu is known for its exceptional quality and deep, complex flavor.
For this limited edition, Tomasu went one step further. The Madame Jeanette peppers used come from an exclusive breeding project in collaboration with the Centre for Genetic Resources Netherlands (CGN). After five years of growing, testing, and selecting, the perfect balance of heat, fruitiness, and aroma was finally found.
The base of this sauce is classic Tomasu soy sauce, slowly aged in oak barrels. On top of that, the spicy, tropical warmth of Madame Jeanette creates an intense flavor profile without being overpowering. The heat is subtly rounded out, allowing the natural flavors of the pepper to fully shine.
