Important to know: Dirty Jack is heat-resistant, but not fireproof. It remains a cotton cloth and therefore has its limits. With prolonged contact with a hot object, the heat will eventually penetrate the material. Therefore, use the cloth with caution and never as a substitute for heat-resistant gloves when handling extremely hot parts or in direct contact with fire.
