Vonken originated in 2020 from a spontaneous idea by two friends, Adrien and Sebastian. During a scout camp, they built their own oven to make pizzas, bread, and casseroles for the children. What started as a rusty barrel full of fire turned out to be the start of a remarkable adventure.
After countless prototypes, cooking tests throughout Belgium, and intensive design work, the Vonken Original saw the light. The founders found their inspiration in the West Flemish metal industry, the craftsmanship of local makers, and Burgundian food culture. The result: elegant ovens with character, designed to last for generations.
