Vonken was born in 2020 from a spontaneous idea by two friends, Adrien and Sebastian. During a scout camp, they built their own oven to make pizzas, bread, and casseroles for the children. What began as a rusty barrel full of fire turned into the start of a special adventure.
After countless prototypes, cooking tests throughout Belgium, and intensive design work, the Vonken Original was born. The founders found their inspiration in the West Flemish metal industry, the craftsmanship of local artisans, and Burgundian culinary culture. The result: elegant ovens with character, designed to last for generations.
