Barbecoa Hot Honey BBQ Sauce brings together the best of two worlds. The subtle sweetness of honey is combined with a light touch of vinegar, without any single flavor dominating. It is precisely this balance that makes the sauce particularly suitable for smoked meat on the kamado or ceramic BBQ.
The sauce is based on the well-known Perfect Blend and enriched with an extra layer of honey and a mild spiciness. This creates a full, rounded flavor that pairs perfectly with slow cooking and grilling. The slightly syrupy texture ensures that the sauce adheres well and caramelizes beautifully during indirect cooking.
How do you use this BBQ sauce?
As a dipping sauce: Heat the sauce gently so that the flavors and herbs come into their own better.
As a glaze on meat: Coat the meat and let the sauce gently come to room temperature so that it adheres well and forms a beautiful glossy layer.
As a BBQ sauce with pulled meat: Mix the sauce directly into pulled pork, pulled chicken, or pulled beef, or use it as a topping in a bun or wrap.
Very suitable with: Chicken, pork, bacon, ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, pulled beef, pizza from the pizza oven, tacos, fries and wedges
Caution: Do not use over a direct flame, as the sugars in the sauce may burn.
