This Valhal Outdoor pan is a chicken sitter, also known as a poultry pan or chicken holder. The term poultry pan describes it better, as it can be used in many different ways. The chicken sitter has a holder for spices or cooking liquid to soak into the poultry. With a rim to collect delicious juices, you can make gravy or prepare side dishes at the same time. Cooking poultry upright ensures it cooks evenly with a crispy crust. Made entirely of cast iron, this pan benefits from the benefits of high heating and good heat retention. Suitable for all heat sources, both indoors and outdoors. Cast iron improves with use and care, and can be re-fired every time for a like-new pan. Valhal Outdoor items are already fired in the factory, but for optimal results it is recommended to fire the cast iron itself a few more times. Use the Valhal Outdoor wax for special care and burning of cast iron.
