This ceramic stone ensures an even distribution of heat and retains excess moisture, so you always get a crispy pizza base. Baking bread and especially pizza requires a high temperature - bread between 200-250 °C and pizza between 350-400 °C. Make sure you place your multilevel lift, heat shield and standard rack, with the pizza stone on top, well in advance. Without the heat shield, the pizza stone would become too hot, causing the bottom of your pizza or bread to burn immediately.
