The Big Green Egg Stainless Steel Roasting Rack S/M is a practical accessory for those who regularly prepare larger cuts of meat, poultry, or spareribs on the Big Green Egg. The open design ensures that hot air circulates well around the food, ensuring everything cooks evenly.
Use the rack upright for a rolled roast, chicken, or other larger piece of meat, for example. If you place the Roasting Rack in a suitable Drip Pan, you can easily collect the roasting juices and liquid. You can then use these as a base for a sauce or gravy.
If you turn the rack over, it transforms into a handy spare rib rack. This places the ribs side by side instead of flat on the grate. This allows you to utilize the available cooking surface more efficiently and enables warm air to circulate well between the spare ribs. This is particularly practical for indirect and low-and-slow cooking.
The rack is made of sturdy stainless steel, making it durable and easy to clean. This version is suitable for the Big Green Egg Medium and is a handy addition for enthusiasts of versatile outdoor cooking on a kamado barbecue.
