The word 'teppanyaki' literally means 'grilling on an iron plate', derived from 'teppan', meaning 'iron plate', and 'yaki', meaning 'grilled', 'roasted', or 'fried'. You can prepare virtually anything on the YAKINIKU Teppanyaki plate: from meat and fish to vegetables. In Japan, teppanyaki is even used for preparing rice, miso soup, and eggs.

With the YAKINIKU half-moon Teppanyaki plate for the XLARGE Kamado, you can experience refined Japanese cooking techniques in your own backyard. Thanks to its half-moon shape, this plate combines perfectly with the YAKINIKU Pro set, allowing you to prepare dishes other than teppanyaki. This modern Japanese cooking style offers versatility, and the accompanying BBQ spatula set makes the experience complete. These spatulas, also made of stainless steel, are handy for preparing and turning food, and for cleaning the plate.

For optimal results, heat your Kamado to 180°C. The plate, made of extra-strong stainless steel, is easy to clean, allowing you to enjoy delicious teppanyaki dishes time after time.
