The Gozney Live-Fire Tongs are designed for anyone who enjoys cooking over an open fire and wants to maintain full control over heat and fuel. The tongs are made of high-quality 304 stainless steel, making them resistant to high temperatures and intensive use in pizza ovens, kamados, and other live-fire setups.

Thanks to the long design, you keep your hands at a safe distance from the fire, while the serrated tips ensure maximum grip on logs, charcoal, or other fuels. This makes it easy to steer the fire, move fuel, or keep the oven at the optimal temperature.

The Live-Fire Tongs are perfectly suited for use with Gozney ovens, but are just as suitable for other outdoor cooking setups. An indispensable tool for outdoor cooks who want to work with fire with precision, safety, and confidence.

The Monolith Avantgarde .66 comes standard with a chip feeder set, split charcoal basket, deflector stones, drip trays, grate lifter, ash shovel, and the Smart Grid System with split grill grates.

A cast iron grate retains heat well and produces beautiful grill marks, but it does require maintenance. Preferably clean the grate while it is still warm with a suitable brush. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or dishwashing liquid, as this can damage the protective coating.

After cleaning, lightly rub the grate with heat-resistant oil. If rust forms, brush it away and season the grate again. This keeps the cast iron better protected and builds up a natural non-stick coating.

Clean a Monolith plancha while it is still warm. Scrape off baking residue and, if necessary, use a little hot water to remove stubborn residue. Preferably do not use dishwashing liquid, as this can damage the built-up protective layer.

Dry the plancha thoroughly and then rub it thinly with oil. Regular use creates a natural cooking surface, which prevents food from sticking as easily and keeps the plancha better protected against rust.
