    Om gietijzeren pannen een lang leven te geven, is het aan te raden ze af en toe opnieuw in te branden. Hier is hoe je dat doet met Valhal Outdoor wax:

    1. Verwarm je gietijzeren pan of accessoire in de oven voor op 175 graden en laat het 20 minuten opwarmen.
    2. Terwijl het gietijzer warm is, wrijf je alle zijden in met Valhal Outdoor wax, gebruikmakend van een theedoek of keukenpapier.
    3. Herhaal het inoliën met een andere schone doek voor een dunne en gelijkmatige waxlaag.
    4. Plaats je gietijzeren item 40 minuten terug in de oven op 250 graden voor polymerisatie van de coating.
    5. Afhankelijk van de gewenste gladheid en vetheid, herhaal dit proces twee of drie keer.
    6. Indien mogelijk, voer deze stappen buiten uit, zoals bijvoorbeeld in een barbecue, om mogelijke rook tijdens stap 4 te vermijden.
