You'll prepare authentic dishes from start to finish, from pizza dough to porchetta, and learn how to use the pizza oven and kamado grill. A culinary workshop where you'll cook, taste, and savor la dolce vita in Venlo together.


    Experience la dolce vita during the Italian Cooking Workshop at BBQ Valley. During this culinary experience, you'll learn how to combine the pure flavors of Italy with the power of the barbecue. Under the guidance of Rutger Corvers, known from Culinair met Rutger and team captain of the Bossche Vuurdraken, you'll delve into the world of outdoor cooking, Italian style.

    Rutger will guide you step by step through a series of authentic dishes, each originating from the wood-fired oven and the kamado barbecue, full of aromas, flavors, and craftsmanship. During the workshop, you'll work in small groups, with each group responsible for one or more dishes. Together, we'll prepare a complete Italian menu, from savory classics to sweet treats.

    Everything is prepared entirely in-house: from making the pizza dough and seasoning meat and fish to cooking dishes in the pizza oven and on the kamado. From start to finish, you'll work with fresh, pure ingredients and learn how to assemble, prepare, and finish dishes the way the Italians do, with passion, attention, and flavor.

    The Italian Cooking Workshop is all about experience, knowledge, and conviviality. Cooking, tasting, and enjoying together, just like the Italians do: with passion, flavor, and a cozy atmosphere.
