The American BBQ Workshop Low & Slow is designed for lovers of real barbecue who want to learn more about rest, fire, smoke, and flavor development. During this workshop, you will dive into the world of classic American BBQ together with @carport_bbq, with influences from Texas and South Carolina.

The starting point of this workshop has been deliberately chosen to be practical. You will work with accessible dishes and relatively affordable cuts of meat, so that you can actually recreate the techniques and recipes at home. In this way, this workshop is not only about tasting and experiencing, but above all about learning and applying.

During the workshop, you will be introduced to various forms of low & slow barbecuing, learn how to control fire and temperature, and discover how smoke, rubs, glazes, and timing combine to create that signature American BBQ flavor. You will learn not only what you are making, but also why you prepare it that way.

The menu features various dishes that together form a complete American BBQ experience. You will get to work with Texas Smoked Burgers in the style of Leroy & Lewis, Peach Tea Pork Belly with influences from Interstellar BBQ, South Texas Chicken Tacos using the dirty cold smoke technique, and South Carolina Style Three Finger Spare Ribs. Flavorful side dishes are served alongside, such as a deluxe coleslaw with pecans and raisins and Mexican street corn. To finish, you will enjoy a Stroopwafel Banana Puddin', an American classic with a Dutch twist.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about kamado barbecue, ceramic BBQ, smoking techniques, and outdoor cooking with authentic American influences. Whether you want to improve your barbecuing skills at home or are simply looking for an educational and flavorful evening, this workshop will provide you with plenty of inspiration and practical knowledge.

At BBQ Valley Venlo, this workshop revolves around experience, technique, and dishes you can truly recreate at home. That makes this Low & Slow workshop not only delicious but also valuable for every BBQ enthusiast.
